GET TO KNOW ME

Hey, I’m Katrina

Six years ago, I decided to give up my full time job, and become full time self-employed because I couldn’t be as creative as I wanted to be, restricted by corporate guidelines and a board of directors to please, and if I’m honest, I hated being told what to do.

So Friday 13th June 2014, I left my job and the following Monday I officially launched Cariad Creative as my business, and not just the “bit on the side”. My background is in large marketing campaigns on a national and international scale, but supporting small local businesses is where my passion is.

Over the years, I have listened to what small business owners needed help with, taught myself how to effectively use WordPress and used my creative, marketing and communication skills to not only build my business, but help other small business owners grow online too.

Lots has changed in six years since I launched Cariad Creative; I began supporting local small businesses in Barry, Cardiff and The Vale of Glamorgan, however since moving my business to being solely online three years ago, I now support and teach small businesses across the UK on how to grow their business online too.

You’ll often find me drinking my weight in iced coffee, keeping my three year old occupied and enjoying re-runs of Friends, because it never gets old.

I was introduced to Katrina at Cariad Creative by a family member who was one of her happy customers. At the time I was in desperate need of someone to carry out administrative work on my website, and she was the right person for the job. A few months later I was launching a new production company and commissioned her to build my new website – what I needed was a fresh, clean design which still had all the vital information customers wanted, and she delivered in full. If your looking for a web designer or web administrator I highly recommend Katrina.
